Welcome to the website of Soumyanath Chatterjee, an technology consultant with a passion for things that improve life of people around.
I have been advicing on SAP/BW for past five years now. Beyond that, I spent around two decade on operations management. My experience spans accross project management, work system designing, cost reduction, business process reengineering and total quality systems besides technology consulting. I spent a large part of life working for automobile industry and created few models. Mundane details of these are available in my resume.
Apart from advicing on SAP, my interests are on developing and advicing on open source software, opreation management, alternative energy resoures, lean lifestyle and science education for school going students. I try to share the lessons I learnt in my blog and the knowledgebase. If you have any unanswered question on the above mentioned subjects, feel free to ask it here. If it meets my area of interest and within my level of knowledge I will try to answer them. If you do not get answer, it means, I am totally ignorant on the subject (which is actually quite large).
In this site, I try to consolidate information about me and my liking that are spread accross myrid websites and some time beyond my control Here, I tried to consolidate information about my work, my life, my family and other things that interests me. I have been maintaining many blogs, these will now get consolidated here either as feed or will move the content here, in this site.
